I’m an independent journalist, based in Barcelona, dedicated to telling stories about our oceans
- from environment to migration.

My work lives in The New York Times, Vice, Slate,
The Guardian, Foreign Policy, Newsweek, and others.
I was previously based in Nairobi for three years.


I hold a double degree in Political Science and International relations by the Universities of Barcelona and Florence as well as a MA in international journalism from City University, London.

 

I am fluent in English, French, Spanish, Catalan
and Italian.
