Born in Barcelona, based in Nairobi, I write  about development, migration and trafficking of all kinds.

My work lives on The New York Times,
The Guardian, Newsweek, Vice, Slate and others.
I am also the Sub-Saharan correspondent for the Spanish newspaper ABC.


I hold a double degree in Political Science and International relations by the Universities of Barcelona and Florence as well as a MA in international journalism from City University, London.

 

I am fluent in English, French, Spanish, Catalan and Italian.
